Mining Element is in Demand in China
The international construction and mining equipment exhibition, Bauma CHINA 2024, has come to a close in Shanghai. It brought together representatives from manufacturing industries across China, as well as Turkey, Italy, and Germany. The specialists from "Mining Element" in both the Chinese and Russian offices held productive negotiations at the Element stand.
Goals and Objectives
Bauma China 2024 is not only a platform for discovering new and innovative solutions for the industry, but also for improving relations with existing partners.
The "Mining Element" stand became a meeting point for dozens of the company’s suppliers.
"As usual, the company places great importance on working with product manufacturers. We are discussing our business volume plans for 2025 with our long-term partners, as well as product development issues, including important orders that require additional monitoring and financial logistics," explained the CEO of the company, Vasily Kolesov.
Industry Trends
In addition to a well-known range of equipment, Bauma China 2024 showcased the industry’s development trajectory. Olga Stepuk, Head of the Wear-Resistant Materials Department at "Mining Element," identified three major trends in the industry:
1. The emergence of large volumes of electric construction machinery — a trend driven by the growing demand for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient solutions.
2. The rising demand for autonomous construction equipment among manufacturers, linked to the need for products that reduce operational costs and enhance workplace safety.
3. The expansion of digitalization within enterprises. More and more Asian companies are offering software aimed at improving the efficient management of machinery.
China Is Not as Simple as It Seems
Many domestic mining companies are eager to enter the Chinese market directly, but they often overlook the challenges of interacting with local manufacturers. This type of work requires expertise in various fields: from communication with suppliers to complex, geopolitically influenced money transfers, and organizing export and logistics.
Sergey Vorobyev, Strategic Procurement Manager at "Mining Element," explained the importance of understanding cultural differences.
"To start speaking the same language, time is needed. Today, all suppliers who visited our stand note that 'Mining Element' has already established itself as a reliable Russian partner, widely known among local manufacturers," emphasized S. Vorobyev. "This is an important comment for us, as the company has been building trustworthy and reliable relationships with local suppliers for the past 7 years."
He added that the company carefully selects its partners, monitors the quality of the products they supply, continuously looks for ways to improve collaboration, and takes cultural differences into account. According to him, this approach has helped the company earn its reputation, and Bauma China 2024 provided another opportunity to confirm it.
"This year, the exhibition was very active, with many Chinese manufacturers of equipment and components on display. The 'Mining Element' team achieved key objectives. During the meetings at the stand, we reached new agreements that will help us improve the quality of the products we produce and provide better service to our customers in Russia," shared the company’s Development Director, Marat Abdurakhimov.
We thank our partners for their interest in the company and look forward to continued fruitful cooperation!
