Ivan Shunyakov, Head of the Crushing and Ore Sorting Department, presented a report at TECH MINING Siberia 2025 (March 12-14) on modernizing the crushing process to improve operational efficiency. His presentation highlighted key challenges and priorities that mining companies face today.

According to Shunyakov, three major factors influence production planning: inconsistent quality of spare and wear parts from different suppliers, rising demand for mined products, and shifting ore properties. These variables directly impact mining companies’ expectations for equipment quality and performance.

"With eight years of experience, Mining Element helps stabilize auxiliary equipment performance, extend the lifespan of wear parts, and optimize overall operations. By reducing maintenance intervals and ensuring more reliable production, we help companies improve efficiency. Conducting equipment audits is crucial, as they provide essential data on working conditions, ore characteristics, and other key factors—allowing us to optimize crushing and sorting processes for better results," Shunyakov explained.
